Nathan, Year 12 student, has recently signed up as an apprentice through Statewide Group Training SA working as a carpenter with host employer Adelaide Hills Building.
He was able to obtain this apprenticeship by studying a Certificate I in Building and Construction Pathways at Adelaide Training and Employment Centre and has also completed a partial Certificate III in Building and Construction this year.
"I am grateful for this opportunity and glad that my hard work has paid off for me. I would like to thank my Mum, Mrs Ros Mattner and especially Mr Branden Hill for helping me achieve my goal of gaining an apprenticeship with Adelaide Hills Building," said Nathan.
We would like to thank Darren from Statewide Group Training SA for taking the time to visit St Francis de Sales College to sign up another one of our Year 12 students.
We wish Nathan all the best as his embarks on his career as a carpenter.
