SEQTA Engage

SEQTA Engage enables parents and caregivers to be connected and active participants in their child’s learning journey.

The SEQTA platform is a student learning and management system made up of three integrated online portals. SEQTA Teach is used by teachers and staff at the College and SEQTA Learn is used by students in Years 4-12. The SEQTA Engage component enables parents to access information at any time using any computer, tablet or smart phone. There is also a native app for iOS and Android devices that can be downloaded via the appropriate App Store.

The use of SEQTA by teachers and students varies slightly from Years 4-6 and Years 7-12. Please refer to the short videos sent out in the letter to parents in February to see how SEQTA is best used in these communities.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I log in to SEQTA Engage?

Initially, a welcome email will be sent from the College to parents/caregivers which allows them to set up a SEQTA Engage account. You will be asked to set up and confirm a personal password and proceed to log in.

Those who have already set up a login can reach the log in page for St Francis de Sales College by simply clicking on the orange Engage icon at the top of this webpage or type in the web address engage.stfrancis.catholic.edu.au

What if my log in link from the email does not work?

Parents will have seven days to log in after receiving the welcome email. After this expiration time parents will need to contact the College to re-provision access.

What if I forget my password or want to change it?

Simply click on the ‘forgot my password’ option on the College’s SEQTA Engage log in page. If you wish to change your password, once logged in go to the Setting option on the left hand side of the screen.

How do I know how to find things once in the Engage Splashpage?

Short and helpful videos were produced to show parents how to navigate in the SEQTA Engage component. Links to these videos were included in the information letter home to parents.

Of course feel free to try the various tabs and options to see how these can be most useful to the information that you are seeking about your child and their learning.

What if I am still having trouble or did not receive a welcome email?

We are here to help. If you need further information or assistance please contact the College at seqta@stfrancis.catholic.edu.au
