The St Francis de Sales Soccer Academy is a vibrant part of the College’s curriculum and provides extra curriculum opportunities for the entire student body. The College has a strong working relationship with the Football Federation of South Australia and both State and Hills Soccer Associations. With two international standard pitches on site, the Academy also provides the opportunity for students to gain qualifications in both refereeing, coaching, First Aid and the Respect in Sport certificate that support their personal goals in the wider soccer community. Holiday Clinics and Come and Try opportunities for our junior students are hosted by the College as they become available during the school year. The focus of the Soccer Academy from Year 8 is to develop the whole person by exposing students to all areas of the world game culminating in a recognised SACE qualification. The College successfully competes in State Knockout and Futsal competitions during the term, along with soccer exchanges on an interstate and international level, allowing our students to then pursue their individual soccer playing careers at external clubs and competitions on the weekend.
